We have reached the end of the first half of the summer term and the sun has finally made an appearance. 😊 This week we have continued completing cross curricular activities around Jack and the Beanstalk in addition to reinforcing that there are two sides to every story through the giant’s version of what happened.

We also took part in the Race for Life and all of the children were amazing and did not give up until they had completed their laps. We were so proud of them! We were also glad to see the sun for our last scooter skills session and it is lovely to see how their confidence has grown because of these sessions. They can still use their scooters and bikes every day at breaktimes as long as they have an helmet in school.

The children will be bringing home their sunflowers that they planted so that they can continue to watch them grown at home. We will also be sharing adventures of our caterpillars on our Team page as they develop!

We have an Inset day on Monday 7th June so please remember to send in your child’s reading books on Tuesday 8th June for that week only. Please also continue to practice their spellings at home in addition to their phonics as this will help them with their reading and writing along with their number bond rhyme.

Thank you all again for all of your support this half term.

Take care and enjoy half term!
