This week Foundation Phase Active club listened to a story and then enjoyed acting it out.
This week parents and children took part in balance bike sessions as part of our Foundation Phase after school club.
Today the Digital Leaders presented a whole school assembly on Internet Safety to celebrate Internet Safety day.

Y5 & 6 really enjoyed learning about Remembrance Day and the highlight was a visit to St Cralloβs Church where their work was displayed alongside other exhibits from the church and wider community. It is still possible to view it this week if you are passing.
Very busy day at Coychurch!! We were delighted to have Sir Gareth Edwards and Lady Maureen Edwards visiting our school today to present our NQA Healthy Schools Award. Pupils, staff, Governors and guests enjoyed a delightful afternoon which celebrated hard work, commitment and teamwork culminating in this prestigious award. Thank you to Sir Gareth and Lady Maureen and to all our guests for making this occasion so special and congratulations to βTeam Coychurchβ
Busy day at Coychurch- visit from M & M Theatre Productions presenting Treasure Island π΄. This was an excellent, entertaining and fun production enjoyed by the whole school! π
Day 2 at Rock Summit UK -brilliant fun, lots of challenging activities and excellent behaviour from our Y5 pupilsππ -so privileged to have spent a few days with this group of fabulous children! π. Thanks also to the motivating and caring activity leaders and all staff at Rock Summit!

Coychurch Primary successfully hosted the 2019 Bridgend Rotary Youth Speak Competition. It was a lovely evening with a very high standard. Congratulations to all participants, especially to our representative Olivia who spoke very well and had a strong and powerful message delivered from the heart.
