Autumn Term 2026 Croeso!
Welcome to a brand-new school year in Class 4! I hope you all had a wonderful summer break and are feeling refreshed and ready for the exciting months ahead.
I am delighted to say that the children have settled into school life exceptionally well. They have returned with positive attitudes, great enthusiasm for learning and have already made a fantastic start to the term. We are very proud of how quickly they have adapted to new routines and expectations, and we are looking forward to a very successful and productive year together.
This term, our exciting enquiry question is:
"How can power change the world around us?"
Through this topic, the children will explore different forms of power and influence, from powerful people and inventions to the forces of nature and the power we all have to make positive choices. We will investigate how power shapes our communities, our environment and our futures through a range of engaging activities across the curriculum.

Please encourage your child to complete activities regularly and let us know if they experience any difficulties accessing these platforms.
Reading remains one of the most important ways that children can develop their learning across the curriculum.
Please ensure your child brings their reading book and reading record to school every day. Regular reading at home really does make a significant difference to children's progress and confidence.
Our PE day is Monday.
Children are welcome to wear their PE kit to school every Monday. Please ensure that clothing and footwear are suitable for active participation and that all items are clearly labelled.
