These include sports, dance, gymnastics and adventure activities. Activities take place both inside and outside the school. The large hall is used for gymnastics and dance and outside on our yard and playing fields team games are played. These include tag rugby, rugby, football, rounders, netball, hockey and basketball.

At Coychurch Primary School we use a scheme of work called Real PE to help shape our PE curriculum provision.

Real PE is a unique, child centred approach that transforms how we teach PE to include, challenge and support EVERY child.

Real PE has been designed to help every child to develop the physical literacy, emotional and thinking skills to achieve in PE, Sport and life. Their unique, child centred approach transforms how we teach PE to include, challenge and support EVERY child.

It is fully aligned to the new Curriculum for Wales and Estyn requirements and focuses on the development of agility, balance and coordination, healthy competition and cooperative learning.

Our aim is that EVERY child will have a positive relationship with physical activity for life and will become healthy and confident.
