Uniform Information

The wearing of a school uniform is strongly encouraged as it adds a sense of identity to our pupils. School uniforms do not need to have a school badge or be any particular brand.

Should you wish to purchase badged uniforms, they can be purchased from the Euro schools, Uniforms 2 Go and IQ School Wear, Pen y Bont Road Pencoed. Book bags with the school logo may be purchased from Uniforms 2 Go. School uniforms can also be purchased through the My Clothing Online Shop. Here is the link

If preferred, pupils are allowed to wear a t-shirt over their swimming costume or with their swimming shorts.  This must be a specific swimming t-shirt (i.e - a rash vest). All children will require a towel.

Footwear

Suitable and appropriate black shoes should be worn at all times. Shoes with high heels or flip flops are not deemed suitable.

Pupils are encouraged to wear trainers for PE lessons only.

Jewellery

The wearing of most jewellery is forbidden for reasons of safety and security. Whilst parents are urged not to let their children wear earrings to school at all, we will accept simple studs. However, for safety reasons, pupils will be required to remove theses studs for PE, therefore they must be able to remove them themselves. On no occasion will staff take any responsibility for the safekeeping of jewellery, watches or earrings.

WE ASK PARENTS TO LABEL ALL CLOTHES and FOOTWEAR

Pre-Loved Uniform

As a school, we know that the cost of school uniforms can put additional financial pressure on families. To help our families, we have set up preloved uniform rails, which are available free of charge.

If you have any good-quality uniforms or PE kits that your children have grown out of, please consider donating them to our uniform rail. Items can be dropped into the school office, and the rails are situated by the main entrance.
