Parent Zone have devised a new app called Ollee. Ollee is a digital friend for children aged 8-11, created by Parent Zone and funded by BBC Children in Need’s A Million & Me initiative, which aims to make a difference to children’s emotional wellbeing. It’s designed to help children reflect on how they feel and to process their experiences with the support and help of their parents and carers – and it does this by offering them advice about a range of subjects: school, family, friends, their body, the internet and the world. For further information and to try Ollee free, please visit: https://app.ollee.org.uk/#/welcome
We hosted a Mad Science Assembly Show today LIVE in school yesterday. If the children enjoyed their experience, there’s an opportunity for you to continue the Science discovery with their online virtual Science Club from home.
Every Tuesday at 4.15pm! It’s a great way to keep their minds active and nurture their curiosity. The best thing is they get a dedicated Mad Scientist each week to lead them through the fun activities and includes an at home experiment, and take home packs to do too.
Visit www.madlablive.co.uk to book on for 6 or 8 Week Course, or even try one of the FREE Taster Sessions every Wednesday!
Every Tuesday 4.15pm online via Zoom.

Dear parents,
Welcome to the Sustrans Parent Survey.
Thank you for taking part in this survey. It will take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
This national survey will help us to measure the impact of Sustrans' work at your child(ren)’s school, assisting us in meeting our aim of increasing the number of pupils travelling actively to school. The survey will also help us to measure how the Covid-19 pandemic and the associated lockdown have impacted active travel uptake. We can only do this with your help. Your feedback is important as it’s the best way for us to understand the impact of our work in schools and the wider community.
Your answers will remain anonymous.

Dear Parents
Coming to the end of this half term we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our pupils and their families for your continued support over this very challenging time. As next week is half term holidays there will be no home learning planning set. Teaching staff will not be available on their hwb emails over this time, however if you have any urgent communications the admin email will be accessed during the week.
As the school is currently closed, this year we will be emailing pupil’s End of Year Reports to parents. If this is not you’re preferred email address please could you contact the school on admin.coychurch@bridgend.gov.uk with your up to date details.
Wishing you all a very happy Whitsun half term break.
Many thanks.
Regards
Mrs A Thomas
